Children's Hunger Alliance

Founded in 1970 in Columbus, Children's Hunger Alliance is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger in Ohio. The organization's mission is to ensure children without access receive healthy food, nutrition education and physical activity. In 2015 the organization worked with partners including childcare providers and afterschool programs to help provide more than 5.2 million nutritious meals and snacks to hungry children throughout Ohio's 88 counties.

Westerville Area Resource Ministry

Westerville Area Resource Ministry, 'WARM', is a 501(c)(3), faith-based organization, serving those in need within the Westerville School District, the 11th largest in Ohio. WARM's mission is to provide compassionate, short-term assistance, educational services and spiritual support to encourage individuals to achieve a self-sufficient life while restoring dignity and hope. WARM combats hunger and poverty with a number of vital programs to provide a 'hand-up', not a 'hand-out'. WARM provides nutritious food, education, life skills, employment assistance, emergency resources, senior services, mentoring, and service learning opportunities. In addition, WARM has adopted the Share Bac A Pac weekend backpack program that serves hundreds of children in need during the school year. In the summer, WARM operates The Westerville Area Kids Lunch Club, a free summer lunch program for children. In 2015, the Westerville Area Kids Lunch Club served 18,695 weekday lunches, 21,294 weekend backpack meals and 88,000 lbs. of fresh produce to children in need along with nutrition education, reading, enrichment, health screenings and recreation activities.

Westerville Sunrise Rotary Foundation

The Sunrise Speakeasy is new fundraiser organized by the Rotary Club of Westerville Sunrise. During the past 20+ years, the Westerville Sunrise Rotary Club has raised more than $2.5 million through fundraisers to sustain its commitment to local children in need. One hundred percent of proceeds benefit local children's charities.
